If you are buying for the purpose of your business, you will need a Bomba License for the extinguishers. All Bomba Licenses have to be registered by a competent company authorized by the Bomba. We are one!
A bomba license is a license that is issued by the Bomba that denotes the location of each extinguisher and the date of expiry of each extinguisher. All the data is kept by the Bomba for their inspections to ensure that Malaysia is safe from fire.
When it is expired, the license can be renewed if it is within 10 years of the date of manufacture and when it is not condemned. Here’s a quick guide to determine if the extinguisher is condemend and cannot be renewed.
