The questions

Can it sit in a car in Malaysian heat?

Yes. The cylinder is tested to 55 bar and rated for service above 60°C, which is well past what a closed car reaches on a hot afternoon. Mount it under the passenger seat or in the boot where it will not roll.

How do I know it still works?

Check the gauge. If the needle sits in the green band, the unit is charged and ready. If it has drifted into either red band, bring it in for a refill. For personal use that is the only check needed. Commercial units require annual servicing to keep a BOMBA licence valid.

I discharged a little. Can I still use it?

No. Once the seal is broken the pressure leaks out slowly, even if you only released a short burst. Any discharged extinguisher must be refilled before it counts as protection again.

How do I use it?

Pull the pin, aim at the base of the fire, squeeze the handle, sweep across the base. If the fire is larger than you are, leave and call 999.

Is the powder toxic?

No. It is monoammonium phosphate, the same compound used in agricultural fertiliser. It is non-toxic and leaves a residue you can vacuum and wipe away.

Where do I get it refilled?

At our Petaling Jaya headquarters, or message us on WhatsApp and we will arrange collection. We refill what we manufacture.

Can I buy it in person?

Yes. Our Petaling Jaya headquarters is open Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 1pm.
